Ferrari Challenge

Scuderia Corsa descended upon Sonoma Raceway earlier this month for the penultimate round of the Ferrari Challenge North America series. Representing Scuderia Corsa was Matt Kurzejewski (No. 221, FBH) competing in Trofeo Pirelli; Joe Sposato (No. 82, FBH) in Trofeo Pirelli-AM; Eric Marston (No. 126, FBH) in Coppa Shell; Lisa Clark (No. 127, FBH) in Coppa Shell-AM; and Neil Langberg (No. 153, FSB).

After a highly competitive head-to-head, Matt Kurzejewski finished 2nd in Race 1 and Race 2 to Manny Franco, a veteran of the Sonoma Raceway track; despite being curtailed of his winning streak, Kurzejewski still leads the Trofeo Pirelli Championship.

In Coppa Shell-AM, Lisa Clark maintains her position at the top of the table with a 17-point lead, achieving a podium finish in Race 2. Our very own #OGR, Neil Langberg received a Gentleman’s podium finish for both races; Neil’s Race for RP (Relapsing Polychondritis) eRacing fundraising event will be on December 12; stay tuned for more details.

Ferrari Club Challenge

In the Ferrari Club Challenge we had five racers flying the flag for Scuderia Corsa, Ron Adams 

(No. 264), Tina Adams (No. 228) Bo Hu (No. 298, FBH), Eric Pan (No. 284, FBH), and Yousuf Nabi (No. 217).; all of them lapping for sweet taste of victory.

Track Attack was the name of the game for the thirty-two racers competing to be crowned with the fastest lap time. Scuderia Corsa had a one-two finish with Eric Pan, at his premier Club Challenge event, and Bo Hu taking first and second place, respectively.

A very special mention also goes to Tina Adams, who achieved a ladies podium finish!

The next round of the Ferrari Challenge will be at Road America, WI from Friday 8 September to Sunday 10 September.

Championship Points Standings as of July 25, 2023:

• Ferrari Beverly Hills is 1st with 256 points.
• Matt Kurzejewski is 1st in Trofeo Pirelli with 119 points.
• Lisa Clark is 1st in Coppa Shell-AM with 93 points, Lisa is also leading the Coppa Ladies class.
