Bacchelli & Villa: A One-of-One Restoration Conciso Concept Built in the 90’s by Bacchelli & Villa, then named Autosport, the inspiration of the car was to draw on track cars from the 1950’s and 60’s, which would be driven to the track, raced, and then driven back; a car that could truly be enjoyed at-home and on the track.

Bacchelli & Villa’s restoration history is long and storied, from Ferrari 250 LMs to 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT NARTs, the shop has revived a bounty of legendary cars. Arguably one of the most unique projects to date has to be the 1999 Ferrari Conciso Concept by Michalak. With no roof and no doors, the Conciso’s chassis is actually that of a Ferrari 328 GTS, stripped down and clothed in an aluminum alloy bodyshell; this one-of-one sports the same 3.2L Ferrari V8 engine from the 328 GTS and has a top speed of 172mph.

Bacchelli & Villa

Built in the 90’s by Bacchelli & Villa, then named Autosport, the inspiration of the car was to draw on track cars from the 1950’s and 60’s, which would be driven to the track, raced, and then driven back; a car that could truly be enjoyed at-home and on the track. After sitting pretty in the living room of a Belgian home for 25 years, the Conciso was auctioned off at the Monaco RM Sotheby’s 2018 auction; it was then brought to Bacchelli & Villa last year by a client who wanted the car to be restored to its former glory, in its original birthplace. The restoration works included a complete repainting, an ode to the original Rosso Corsa color, mechanical restoration, and some minor body work.
